Does patient data leave the hospital?
Card images are processed in memory and not kept after the response. If your policy keeps data inside the hospital’s network, the service can be installed on your own servers.
Can it connect to our hospital system?
Yes. It is a plain HTTP API: any system that can send an HTTP POST can call it, with examples in curl, Python and JavaScript.
What about blurry or glare-hit photos?
Every field has a confidence score, so your system asks for a new photo only when it is low, and a number that fails its check digit comes back as an error and costs nothing.
