October update: iApp eKYB, Face plans and ChindaTTS at 0.2 IC per 1,000 characters
On 27 October 2026 iApp Technology released three changes: a new API for checking Thai companies, monthly plans for face verification and passive liveness, and a lower price for ChindaTTS text-to-speech with ten new voices. It also recaps the licence plate price cut and the Gate plans that started on 20 October.
iApp eKYB: every Thai company from its registration number
iApp eKYB returns the record of any of the 1,751,616 companies and partnerships on the Department of Business Development register from a 13-digit registration number:
- The record: names in Thai and English, status, capital, industry code, address, directors and partners, and who may sign for the company.
- Financial statements: up to five fiscal years, and whether the company files at all.
- Risk assessment: 10 red-flag rules, from an inactive status to three years of losses, with a 0 to 100 score and the evidence for each flag.

Only a successful answer is billed: a company not found, an empty search or an error costs nothing. A lookup took a median of 0.15 seconds end to end in our tests. Shareholders and beneficial owners are not part of the register data, and every record says so. The API reference lists every endpoint.
Face plans: face verification and passive liveness by the month
Face verification and passive liveness stay at 0.3 IC a call. For steady volume, a Face plan gives one monthly allowance for both: each call to either API uses one check.

- Shared allowance: a sign-up that checks liveness and then matches the face uses two checks.
- Beyond the allowance: 0.3 IC a check from your credit balance.
- Not included: active liveness, face with ID card and ID card reading stay on credits.
- Yearly: ten months' price for Face S and M, eleven for Face L; the allowance still resets every month.

ChindaTTS: 0.2 IC per 1,000 characters and ten new voices
ChindaTTS is now billed by the length of the text: 0.02 IC per 100 characters, rounded up, in place of 1 IC a request.
- Short sentences cost less: 200 characters cost 0.04 IC.
- Long text: a million characters cost 200 IC, about 250 THB before VAT at the smallest credit pack.
- Same price for every voice: the three ready voices, every speaking style and cloned voices.
Ten new voices join Kaitom, Kaimook and Kaidang: a girl and a boy, two teenagers, a woman and a man, a middle-aged woman and man, a grandmother and a grandfather. Each speaks the eight styles. You can hear every voice and try your own text on the ChindaTTS page.
For steady use, Voice plans count characters by the month:

Licence plate recognition: 0.25 IC an image since 20 October
On 20 October 2026 licence plate recognition dropped from 0.75 IC to 0.25 IC an image, on every endpoint including the older paths.
- Existing credits: your balance is unchanged and now reads three times as many plates. Credits do not expire.
- Errors: a request answered with an error status is not charged.
- No code change: endpoints, requests and responses are the same.
For systems that read plates every day, Gate plans give a fixed number of images each month:
