iApp Technology launches iApp Image Generation — the first Thai-made AI image generation model, with Thai text rendered exactly as written

The following is the official press release issued on 2 September 2026.
Bangkok, 2 September 2026 — iApp Technology today launched iApp Image Generation, the first AI image generation model built by a Thai team for the Thai language. Developed by the iApp Technology team, the service produces posters, shop signs, greeting cards, product labels, presentation slides and social-media graphics in which the Thai text appears exactly as the user typed it — every consonant, vowel and tone mark in place. It is available today to every iApp AI API account at a preview price of 1.5 IC per image, half the list price of 3 IC.
Anyone who has asked a general-purpose image model to draw a Thai shop sign knows the result: strokes that look Thai from a distance and read as nonsense up close. Thai script stacks vowels and tone marks above and below the consonant line, and models trained mainly on English and Chinese imagery reproduce the shape but not the spelling. For a printer, a marketing team or a small shop, an image with a misspelled headline is unusable.
iApp Image Generation treats the text as the most important element of the image. The user writes a description of the scene in Thai or English, lists the text that must appear, and chooses one of 19 Thai typefaces and one of five image sizes. The service returns a finished image in about 10 seconds.
